Terms of Use
By using Freelance Figures, you agree to the terms on this page. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Using the site
Freelance Figures is free to use, as-is, with no signup required. You're welcome to use the numbers a calculator gives you for your own personal or business purposes. Please don't scrape the site aggressively, try to break it, or present its tools as your own work.
Estimates, not professional advice
Every number a calculator produces is an estimate for planning purposes, generated from the formula and inputs you provide — documented on each tool's page and summarized on the Methodology page. None of it is tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice, and none of it replaces a conversation with a qualified professional about your specific situation. If a decision carries real money or legal weight, verify the numbers independently before acting on them.
No warranty
The site and its calculators are provided “as is,” with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Real effort goes into getting the math right and documenting every formula, but there's no guarantee the results are error-free or that they match your exact circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows it, Freelance Figures and its developer aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on a calculator's output — including decisions about pricing, income, or taxes made using a number from here. Treat every result as one input among several, not a final answer.
External links
Freelance Figures links out to sources — government data, research, other tools — to back up a formula or add context. A link isn't an endorsement of everything else on that site, and there's no control over, or responsibility for, the content or availability of pages this site doesn't run.
Changes
These terms can change as the site grows; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update. Questions go to hello@freelancefigures.com.
